All hand-crafted items are knit by retired elders in the Los Angeles area with either imported or domestic yarns. When the piece is finished, the left over yarns are recycled into hats and shawls and donated to local shelters for abandoned, abused or homeless women. The silk used with some of our collection is from a village in Cambodia. All of the proceeds from these “Cambodian Threads” are reinvested into the village schools.
